Sitting On The Docofthebay Was The Place To Be

Tuesday 12th February 2013

Sitting on the Docofthebay was definitely the place to be at Southwell today.

It is over six years since the 9-year-old last raced at Southwell winning his Maiden. In thos six years he has come close to winning some of Britains most covetable handicaps. This was Southwells race of the day and it was a very competitive card.

A decent Fibresand handicap, run at a good pace, and the front pair pulled clear. He travelled smoothly into the race and, although he hung right over to the stands´ rail after hitting the front, he did just enough. Although a 9yo, this was only his third try at Southwell and his form figures here now read 121.
