Scott Dixon Racing recently relocated to Southwell Racecourse where the training barns have undergone extensive renovations and are now a well invested training establishment. 

Scott Dixon and his team, are preparing for their first official turf season from the new base at Southwell Racecourse and are excited to send out their first string of two year olds from the new training establishment.

Scott Dixon, became the only trainer at Southwell Racecourse when he moved his team of over 30 horses into the newly refurbished training barns in August. Scott remains the only trainer in the country to train on the racecourse

Offering first class in-house training facilities adjacent to the track. include three barns , turn-out paddocks, state-of-the-art enclosed lunging pen, horse walker, exclusive use of the All-Weather racecourse and grass gallop which will prove to be vital in producing a regular flow of winners.

With an influx of new horses for 2020, including impressive handicappers Giogiobo and Marni James the Scott Dixon Racing Team are looking forward to being back in the winner’s enclosure on a regular basis.

Scott has been synonymous with success on Southwell’s Fibresand All-Weather track since

becoming the youngest trainer in Britain eight years ago.
Over 70 of around 200 career winners have been achieved at the track, with firm favourites

Sir Geoffrey, Even Stevens, Crosse Fire (pictured) becoming standing dishes on the surface. 

Training the horses on the track brings unique benefits to Scott and his owner’s. Working horses

on the racing surface will give them an important insight into their capabilities and, of course,

there will be no travel costs, which can prove expensive. Scott is also privy to his own

hospitality box on race days to give his owners that extra VIP experience at every race meeting.

Racehorse ownership is no longer only for the elite. Many partnerships and syndicates are

available to help spread the costs but still enable you to enjoy the full involvement of owning a
