Great Start To The Week For Albert Boy

A fabulous start to the week for owners John and Carolyn Radford on Monday as their 5yo gelding, Albert Boy, won the 4:05 handicap at Thirsk under Theodore Ladd in convincing fashion.

Albert's performance leaves no doubt about how genuine he is winning from a very wide draw in a competitive field. Albert Boy has won four races and been second 3 times. He won the one mile four furlong event by two lengths.

Albert is named after one of John and Carolyns three son's Albert, who was cheering him on at home and who has enjoyed watching the replays.

We hope their luck continues as their football club Mansfield Town faces Macclesfield Town on Saturday.
